What if the body is more than biochemistry—a living energy system constantly exchanging information with the world around it? In this episode of Take Back Your Health®, Dr. Amy Myers sits down with Harry Massey, a bioenergetic expert, entrepreneur, and founder of Energy4Life, to explore the relationship between energy, information, emotion, trauma, and health.
Harry’s story began with a series of accidents, a viral illness, emotional trauma, and chronic pain that eventually left him bedridden for seven years. After trying many approaches without finding lasting relief, he began studying how healthy systems function and connected with Professor Peter Fraser, whose work on the body’s energy fields changed the direction of Harry’s life. Together, they developed technologies and products built around bioenergetic principles.
This conversation is an introduction to Harry’s framework and personal experience—not a treatment plan or individualized medical advice. Harry explains how he thinks about the body as an energy-exchange system, what he means by coherence and resistance, how his company uses voice scans and resonance-based approaches, and why he believes emotional awareness and personal participation matter in any healing process.
What I Cover In This Episode
- Harry’s journey from chronic illness and seven years bedridden to developing bioenergetic technologies.
- What bioenergetics means and how Harry describes the body as a battery and energy-exchange system.
- The role of coherent information, resistance, emotions, trauma, toxins, and injury in Harry’s framework.
- How Energy4Life’s practitioner-based systems use voice scans, resonance principles, wearable data, and emerging AI tools.
- What Infoceuticals and the miHealth device are, according to Harry, and how they differ from conventional supplements or devices.
- Why Harry emphasizes gratitude, intention, surrender, trust, and active participation in personal change.
From Seven Years Bedridden to a New Health Framework
Harry describes becoming seriously ill in his early twenties after several accidents, a viral illness that he associates with Epstein-Barr, chronic back pain, and a period of intense emotional stress. His condition worsened over time until he was using a wheelchair and eventually became bedridden for seven years. He tried acupuncture, different diets, Gerson therapy, coffee enemas, ozone, intravenous therapies, and other approaches, but says he remained profoundly unwell.
The turning point came when Harry began asking a different question: instead of focusing only on disease, what could he learn by studying healthy people and the sources of energy in the body? That question led him to Professor Peter Fraser, whose work became the foundation for the systems Harry later helped develop.
Bioenergetics and the Body’s “Battery”
Harry defines bioenergetics as the study of energy in living systems. He describes the body as an energy-exchange system that takes in energy through food, oxygen, sunlight, and its relationship with the environment. In his framework, health depends not only on how much energy is available, but also on how efficiently the body uses it and how much energy is lost through resistance.
He discusses negative emotions, stress, injury, viral illness, and toxicity as examples of factors that may increase the body’s energy demands or interfere with its control systems. Dr. Amy connects this framework to concepts familiar to her audience, including toxins, infections, stress, and nutrition, while Harry explains how he views these influences through an energetic and informational lens.
Resonance, Voice Scans, and Energy4Life Technology
A major portion of the conversation focuses on how Harry’s company approaches assessment. He explains that Energy4Life’s practitioner systems use voice-based scans and resonance principles to examine patterns across different areas of the body. Harry also describes the company’s work with tongue, face, voice, and wearable data, as well as the development of consumer-facing tools.
The conversation touches on Vega and electrodermal testing, Chinese medicine, acupuncture, machine learning, and the challenge of separating a genuine signal from human bias. Harry emphasizes that his company’s approach is designed around identifying patterns and supporting optimal function rather than focusing only on specific pathogens or toxins.
Infoceuticals, miHealth, and the Role of Personal Participation
Harry describes Infoceuticals as mineral-based products that, in his company’s framework, carry imprinted information related to the body’s systems. He also discusses the handheld miHealth device, which he says uses electromagnetic signals and laser diodes. These products and explanations are presented as part of Harry’s bioenergetic model and should not be interpreted as a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, or professional medical care.
The discussion also addresses sensitivity, dosing, sequencing, and the importance of practitioner guidance. Harry explains that people may respond differently depending on their health history and that taking too many products or pursuing too many goals at once may dilute attention. His broader message is that no device or product replaces awareness and action.
Coherence, Emotions, and Harry’s Daily Practice
Harry distinguishes the type of coherence he describes in the body’s control systems from heart-rate variability, while acknowledging that the ideas are related. He explains that stress and negative emotions can affect the body through familiar hormonal pathways as well as through the energetic model he uses in his work.
The conversation then turns to emotional polarities: frustration and decisiveness, fear and courage, anxiety and faith. Harry shares a simple daily practice built around gratitude, intention, surrender, and trust. He describes writing down what went well, setting a few meaningful intentions, releasing the need to control exactly how they unfold, and taking action in alignment with those intentions.
